The Lab

Description

The story follows Hazel, a young girl raised in a mysterious lab where she is experimented on and called “The Project.” She meets Luke, a teenage boy who has also been taken to the lab, and together they discover they are part of a dangerous series of experiments or “phases.” As they endure terrifying tests, encounter other altered children, and uncover the lab’s dark secrets, they form strong bonds with others like Cassidy and Milo. Eventually, they fight back, destroy the lab’s core, and escape into the outside world. Struggling with trust and fear, they cautiously interact with people beyond the lab and are ultimately given a chance at a real life and family. Five years later, they are living freely, healing, and building a future together.
